Bay Plas have been supplying trolleys to the Rest Home, Hospital and Hospitality industry for over 20 years. They have proved to be durable, light and strong and are made from especially formulated pipe & fittings with a PVC base with high levels of titanium oxide, uv inhibitors, plasticizers & acrylic impact modifiers. A reliable user friendly product, surprising most with their ability to withstand the rigors of commercial use.
Quality rigid 3mm PVC sheet with high levels of U.V. inhibitors is used for the shelves and sides of Bay Plas trolleys and is taped as well as riveted. The result is a quieter unit with rounded corners (less damage to skirting walls etc) that will not rust, corrode, or oxidise and are hygienic and easy to clean. The U.V. inhibitors (7 times the level of downpipe) stop the pipe going brittle while the acrylic impact modifiers and titanium oxide slow down the migration of the inhibitors keeping pipe and fittings supply.
The runners used in breakfast tray and bin trolleys are especially extruded for Bay Plas of rigid PVC with rounded edges. They are strong durable and double riveted to pipe. The bins used in Bay Plas trolleys are rotationally moulded polyethylene that remain supple and are food compatible. Breakfast tray tolleys have a heat resistant (100 Degrees Centigrade) top shelf and this material can be fitted to any trolley shelf if required. (eg. tea trolley if required)
They are light, strong, easy to push and manoeuvre. The trolleys are not suitable to be pushed over lips and require brakes if being parked on a slope. If you are intending to put hot objects on our units please advise so we can ensure the correct material is used on our shelves. Failure to do so voids warranty.

A feature of our trolleys is the top quality european castors and you can be assured that you will get the right advice as to which castor you should be using for your particular trolley use. Brakes are available on all models on request.
Dimensions may vary with castor size. All breakfast tray trolley dimensions quoted are to fit CT1418 cafe trays. Alternative tray sizes on request. Manufacturer reserves the right to improve and alter trolley specifications.

The standard shelves are not suitable to take direct heat over 60 (Degrees Centigrade). Teapots etc should be put on a poor heat conducting surface such as wood, heat tough plastic tray or Bay Plas heat resistant shelving. Failure to do this will result in the shelves buckling or marking and the warranty being void. The trolleys are not suitable in circumstances where they are being banged into or over lips (e.g. gutters etc) as repeated abuse of this nature could result in fittings cracking or breaking at the bottom frame. Custom made trolleys are non returnable unless product supplied is different from that agreed on.
When used under the conditions for which they were manufactured Bay Plas trolleys have a 3 year warranty on materials and workmanship.
